A new anime television series adaptation co-produced by MAPPA and Tezuka Productions has been announced, and will be streamed by Amazon.
It was also made into a live-action film in 2007. An anime television series based on the manga consists of 26 half-hour episodes that aired in 1969. Dororo (どろろ) is a Japanese manga series from the manga creator Osamu Tezuka in the late 1960s.
